Production Executive job scope:

  1. Coordinate with editors, designers, and other stakeholders to gather detailed print specifications and requirements, ensuring clarity and accuracy of the project.
  2. Liaise with suppliers, printers, and vendors to obtain competitive quotes, negotiate schedules and pricing, and ensure that quality standards and delivery timelines are met.
  3. Manage and oversee the entire order process, from quotation,  stock preparation to production, quality control, and final delivery, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
  4. Update and maintain the Production Schedule Report regularly, reflecting the current status of each project, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  5. Coordinate with forwarders, logistics providers, and warehouse staff to facilitate smooth deliveries and shipments, ensuring timely distribution of finished products.
  6. Conduct thorough checking of advance copies to verify compliance with agreed specifications and quality standards.
  7. Handle administrative tasks related to production, including documentation, order tracking, and maintaining accurate records of all production activities.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly, liaising with vendors and internal teams to minimise delays and rectifying quality concerns.
  9. Assist in developing and refining production processes and workflows to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain operations.
  • Possess at least a Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to manage and analyse data efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of the printing process is a plus.
