Job Description

  • Position Title: Process & Manufacturing Technician/Engineer (2D CAD Designer/Drafter)
  • Working Location: Serangoon North
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm
  • Salary Package: Up to $3,800 VB
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Define manufacturing processes and estimates for new project introductions (RFQs).
  • Design and define die cutting tooling.
  • Prepare Process & Manufacturing documentation such as CAD Drawings, BOM, ECN, Control Plans, and Working Instructions.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, including efficiency, speed, and cost.
  • Provide support for production troubleshooting and manage production delays.
  • Promote continuous improvement in operational KPIs (Scrap, Efficiency, Cost, Yield, Customer Complaints, Audits, etc.).
  • Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance.
  • Implement cost-reduction strategies while maximizing quality.
  • Train staff in both new and existing manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and team members to improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all manufacturing procedures.
  • Study and upgrade systems and processes with new technologies.

  • Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Prior experience in continuous process improvement culture/approach
  • Proficient in CAD 2D software.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 audits, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with laser machines will be an added advantage.
