Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

- Developing and documenting high-precision plastic injection tooling and molded parts manufacturing.
- Providing upfront tooling/product DFM (Design for Manufacturability) during new project quotation to support the Program team.
- Optimizing the molding process, manufacturing fixtures, and automation for production reliability and efficiency improvements.
- Designing and fabricating test/measurement fixtures to support the Quality Team.
- Coordinating mold trials, troubleshooting tooling and molded part issues, and making necessary engineering changes for smooth production with the required quality.

Job Requirements:

- Preferred working experience or knowledge in Precision Tooling Design/Fabrication, Micro Plastic Injection Molding Process or Manufacturing Process Engineering related field
- Excellent technical analytical ability with strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Siemens UG NX or PTC Creo 4.0 and above
- Work location is between Serangoon and Ang Mo Kio
- Able to work five days per week, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5:30pm
