Cardiac Technologist

Tasked with performing a variety of cardiac assessments and procedures for pediatric cases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform paediatric and fetal cardiac echocardiography
• Conduct 12-lead ECG, Holter monitoring, and other cardiac tests
• Handle administrative tasks, including typing reports
• Maintain equipment and update patient records
• Collect, analyse, compare results, and prepare preliminary reports for both routine and complex cases accurately
• Follow best practices and recommend improvements to clinical procedures
• Make practical, effective decisions in complex situations, considering team impact
• Identify and resolve potential conflicts before escalation
• Manage team resources efficiently
• Assist in developing and maintaining training materials and methods
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent
• Sonography/Echocardiography background preferred
• Skilled in ultrasound; knowledge of human anatomy; training in cardiac technology is an advantage
