Position Overview:

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in OS virtualization technologies, storage solutions, and programming. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux, RHEL, AIX, and Windows environments, with additional experience in Red Hat products, Axway API management, and Java programming. The role requires both a strategic perspective and the ability to dive deep into technical details to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration and Virtualization:
    • Manage and maintain operating systems such as Linux, RHEL, AIX, and Windows, including virtualization technologies.
    • Oversee SAN storage environments and databases, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Red Hat and Axway API Management:
    • Work with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), Satellite, and Capsule products to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
    • Manage APIs using Axway API management tools, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across applications.
  • Programming and Development:
    • Utilize programming skills, particularly in Java, to support system operations, automation tasks, and application development as required.
    • Collaborate with teams to design, implement, and maintain software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Infrastructure and Problem-Solving:
    • Manage ICT infrastructure with a focus on Linux environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
    • Analyse business requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop comprehensive solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Learning:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive success.
    • Engage in active learning and on-the-job training to continually enhance technical skills and stay updated on emerging technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux (RHEL), and AIX OS.
  • Strong knowledge of OS virtualization technologies, SAN storage, and databases.
  • Experience with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), Satellite, and Axway API management.
  • Proficiency in Java or other programming languages.
  • Ability to analyse complex systems and deliver comprehensive, strategic solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a resourceful and proactive approach to challenges.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and development.
