Position: Technician

Contract: 1-year

Salary & Benefits:

  • Basic: $2,600 – $7,000 (based on experience & qualification)
  • Fixed Allowance: $350/month
  • AWS + Annual Bonus (1–2 months)
  • 14–18 days Annual Leave
  • 12-hour Rotating Shifts (5 working days)
  • 1-Year Direct Contract (Renewable & Convertible to Permanent)
  • Company Shuttle Bus Provided

Job Responsibilities:

As part of our project & technical team, you will:

  • Assist engineers and supervise IWMF construction progress
  • Work with consultants, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with design & statutory requirements
  • Participate in testing, commissioning & FATs (local & overseas) for equipment and systems
  • Support operation & maintenance of TSIP waste-to-energy facility
  • Lead and coordinate technical specialists, contractors & maintenance teams
  • Implement preventive maintenance & overhaul programs for electrical, control & mechanical equipment
  • Enforce safe work culture (permit-to-work, contractor supervision, SOPs, safety standards)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence

Job Requirements:

  • Nitec or above in Engineering discipline
  • 6–8 years relevant experience preferred
  • Professional certifications (Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant, WSHO, etc.) will be an advantage
  • Strong technical background, analytical skills & solid waste management knowledge (added plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Navisworks & Primavera P6 preferred
  • Independent, resourceful, good team player with strong communication skills
  • Willing to work in Tuas South waste-to-energy facility
  • Able to perform rotating shift work, including weekends & PH
