Job Description:

The Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with professional standards while leading and developing a team of auditors. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and client management skills to deliver high-quality audit services and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and supervise the execution of audit engagements across a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm policies.
  • Review and evaluate the work performed by audit teams, providing coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to junior staff.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business operations, assess key risk areas, and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality audit reports and financial statements to clients in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives aimed at enhancing audit quality, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including drafting proposals and supporting client presentation

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in Accountancy (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in external audit, preferably within a professional services or public accounting environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple audit engagements and lead diverse client portfolios.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining audit quality and ethical standards.
  • Motivated to grow within the firm and progress into senior leadership roles.
