What you will be working on

As a Prison Officer, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our prisons. You will be responsible for maintaining security by ensuring that all rules and regulations are strictly followed. This includes conducting routine checks, managing entry and exit points, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding swiftly to any incidents or emergencies. You will actively interact with offenders, addressing their concerns and supporting their access to rehabilitation programmes and services. Your presence will be critical in fostering a secure and purposeful environment, where order and discipline are upheld.

What we are looking for

Eligibility Requirements

  • Local polytechnic diploma, General Certificate of Education (GCE) 'A' Level, five GCE 'O' Level passes, Higher Nitec or Nitec
  • Able to handle physical work (For Male: PES B1 and above; at least a "Pass" in IPPT in latest year)
  • Able to differentiate colors due to work purposes
