Job description:

This role will assist with the development and implementation of mental health training programmes, in accordance with the National Mental Health Competency Training Framework (NMHCTF), to equip frontline agencies, service providers and key stakeholders with mental health knowledge and skills to support their clients and address ground mental health needs.

  1. Conduct regular desktop research on relevant publicly available courses to provide an oversight of the mental health training landscape by conducting regular desktop research on available training programmes and engagement with training providers.
  1. Assist in the review of existing training courses if adequate to meet the learning needs of various target groups and support the engagement with training providers ensure adequate supply to meet sector's demand.

3) Provide administrative support for the evaluation and procurement of training programmes to facilitate sector learning, including:

  • process of evaluation and approval of training programmes
  • maintenance of an up-to-date list of training programmes
  • dissemination of the course listing to inform the sector
  • registration of learners, recording keeping, training logistics and issuing of certificates

4) Support the regular review and impact evaluation of training courses to ensure that listed courses have met their intended objectives, including:

  • consolidating and analysing feedback from learners and training providers
  • preparing updates for the National Mental Health Office (NMHO) and other key stakeholders

5) Liaise and conduct outreach sessions with frontline agencies, service providers to raise awareness and uptake of dementia and mental health training courses.

This role is on 3 years contract, subject to renewal.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in training, education, business administration, human resource, or other related fields.
  • At least 3 years' experience in healthcare, training or business administration
  • Prior experience in education or training industry.
  • Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and preparing research/ evaluation reports preferred.
  • Able to work well with groups from diverse backgrounds
  • Able to multi-task and possess strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • A self-starter with strong learning ability, who is resilient, adaptable and able to manage change and ambiguity
