What you'll be doing
- Conduct regular servicing and maintenance of inflatable liferafts, safety equipment and boats
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with marine equipment, and implement appropriate repair solutions
- Complete all relevant reports, and documents of all maintenance activities and repair work
- Collaborate with the wider engineering team to optimise maintenance schedules and works
- Provide on-site support and installations onboard vessel and in camp or shipyard, where necessary
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards
- Other duties as assigned
- On the job training provided
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Technician or Mechanic in the marine industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Class 3 driving license and/or electrical skills will be of advantage
- Alternate Saturdays (half day)
