What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting annual and five yearly inspections and maintenance on lifeboats, davits, and associated equipment
  2. Performing necessary repairs and replacements to keep all safety equipment up to date
  3. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all servicing and maintenance activities
  4. Collaborating with team to coordinate the deployment and testing of lifeboats and other safety appliances
  5. Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures
  6. Working onboard vessel and in shipyard

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2 years of experience as a Lifeboat Technician or a similar role in the maritime industry
  2. Excellent mechanical and technical skills
  3. Familiarity with liferaft servicing and/or electrical skills will be of advantage
  4. Good communication skills
