We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced finance manager to manage and oversee the full spectrum of financial operations for both our Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam entities. This role is responsible for financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, tax, and internal controls across both countries, ensuring alignment with local regulations and corporate policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Guide, develop and manage people of different levels in the finance team.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
  • Lead month end review and report on financial results relating to account reconciliations, covering KPI's, cashflow and ad-hoc financial information.
  • Coordinate the annual budget and periodic forecasts for the business.
  • Analyze variances and identify areas for cost reduction/profit improvement and provide recommendations regarding methods of achievement.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage payments, and ensure adequate liquidity for operations in both entities.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors; assess any changes necessary
  • Strengthen current internal control and process improvement
  • Consolidations with subsidiaries in Malaysia and Vietnam.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial risk in areas like credit exposure, expenditure, funding, taxation, regulatory environment, and general and commercial risks
  • Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to align reporting standards and financial processes
  • Monitor revenue and overheads and, where appropriate, propose corrective action in relation to deviations against budget
  • Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department's overall policy and procedure manual.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control systems and statutory financial regulations.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • B.S. or B.S. Finance, Accounting, or other related field Degree or ACCA or CPA qualifications
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience in managing a team

·       Prior experiences with manufacturing and project costing should be made mandatory;

·       Proficiency in SAP and some Exchequer experience is preferred

  • Possess good communication skills and good business acumen, to confidently analyse and present to stakeholders at all levels
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, as job incumbent will be required to liaise with stakeholders and counterparts in both languages
