Job Description

Reporting to Senior Associate Director, this incumbent is expected to:

  • Support Central FP&A lead in the preparation and consolidation of the University's annual budget, forecast and long-term projections.
  • Operationalised the annual budget loading, restatement and reporting
  • Review budget projections and proposed methodology
  • Collaborate I provide business partnering with Faculties, Departments and Other Units
  • Explain complex financial data clearly
  • Support and operationalise the tracking and reporting of university-funded projects
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing FP&A processes and tools
  • Provide financial summaries, reports, and strategic financial insights to support the organization's growth and profitability as needed.

Qualifications

  • Degree majoring in Accounting/Finance
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and variance analysis (experience in higher education is a plus).
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, meticulous, resourceful, innovative, driven and self-motivated
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, and able to build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisation skills, positive work attitude and adaptable to changes
  • Able to deal with stress and work under tight deadlines
  • Hands-on and proficient in the use of Excel with working knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana (FM & FI) modules is a plus, Jedox or any analytical or visualisation tool will be an advantage.
