Purchasing & Logistics Manager

Location: Somerset

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to SGD 7,500/month + up to 2 months' bonus based on performance

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing & Logistics Manager to oversee supply chain operations, from procurement and inventory to warehouse management and vendor coordination. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supply Chain

  • Manage and monitor end-to-end purchasing processes (invoices, deliveries, payments)
  • Oversee product entry and updates in inventory systems (Zoho Inventory, NOVA)
  • Align purchasing activities with warehouse stock levels and internal department needs
  • Drive supplier selection and periodic vendor reviews through bids and evaluations
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (Finance, Commercial, Warehouse)

Logistics & Warehouse

  • Supervise customs clearance, tax payments, and regulatory documentation for imports/exports
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and internal processes for all logistics activities
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and team performance
  • Maintain real-time accuracy of stock, product details, and system data

Contract & Vendor Management

  • Manage existing contracts and ensure proper implementation
  • Engage with third-party suppliers and service providers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality support

Other

  • Review and improve logistics and procurement SOPs
  • Handle ad hoc projects or tasks as required by senior management

Requirements

Education & Skills

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Zoho Inventory and logistics software is a strong advantage

Experience

  • At least 5 years in a similar role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing warehouse staff
  • Hands-on logistics/supply chain operations background
  • Experience in Retail industry is a bonus
