About the job Chief Marketing Officer

We're seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Marketing Officer to lead our clients marketing efforts and drive business growth in the publisher and broadcast media industry. As CMO, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance their brand, increase audience engagement, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies:
    • Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to drive audience growth, engagement, and revenue
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editorial, sales, and product development
  • Brand Management:
    • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and identity across all channels
    • Ensure consistent brand experience across digital, print, and broadcast platforms
  • Audience Development:
    • Analyze audience insights and develop strategies to attract and retain target audiences
    • Collaborate with editorial teams to create engaging content that resonates with audiences
  • Revenue Growth:
    • Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies
    • Collaborate with sales teams to develop targeted marketing initiatives
  • Digital Transformation:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
    • Develop strategies to leverage digital platforms and tools to enhance marketing efforts
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning

Requirements:

  • Experience: 15 years of marketing experience in the publisher and broadcast media industry, with 7 years in a leadership role
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including branding, audience development, and revenue growth
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
