As a Senior Recruitment/Principal Consultant, you will focus on building and maintaining recruitment business within your industry specialisation. You will play a crucial role in aligning suitable candidates with client needs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular calls and visits.
- Work closely with clients to understand their job requirements and candidate preferences.
- Align suitable candidates with client requirements and preferences.
- Keep detailed records of successful placements with respective clients.
Candidate Management:
- Develop and implement effective strategies for sourcing candidates.
- Compile and summarize candidates' reports to ensure data accuracy.
- Interact with and assess applicants using pre-determined criteria to determine suitability.
- Conduct general interviews with job seekers to create a pool of ready candidates.
- Manage candidates' expectations, providing advice and guidance as needed.
- Provide candidates with tips and advice on CVs and interview techniques.
- Reject unsuitable candidates tactfully and evaluate them for other opportunities.
- Maintain regular contact with candidates to build strong relationships.
- Arrange interviews for candidates with clients and follow up post-interview.
- Establish and maintain a constant pool of candidates through effective sourcing.
- Administer Letters of Appointment to candidates, where applicable.
Systems and Operations:
- Adhere to all administrative procedures and complete assigned administrative tasks.
- Periodically update all relevant job postings and ensure accuracy of reports and documents.
- Coordinate information between clients and candidates as necessary.
- Ensure that the candidates' database is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain records of all contacts with clients, candidates, and scheduled meetings.
People and Team:
- Independently manage and develop personal performance.
- Provide and accept feedback positively.
- Support and assist in the implementation of team decisions.
- Proactively achieve overall objectives.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with all team members.
- Actively participate in team and company-related activities and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in permanent recruitment in an agency setting.
- Must have experience developing new business whether with new or existing clients.
- Possesses strong industry network.
- This role will be based in SG and candidates with current work rights to work locally preferred.
- Strong understanding of client and candidate management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in recruitment software and databases.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
