Regional Channel Leader, Dental Solutions – Emerging Asia: Key Responsibilities
- Execute operating plans to achieve sales targets and manage channel partners, ensuring agreements are in place and credit policies met.
- Oversee POS implementation, inventory management, compliance training, and performance coaching for distributor teams.
- Rationalize channel partners per business strategy; monitor forecasts and drive liquidation of excess stock; Expand distribution coverage.
- Gather market intelligence and identify new business opportunities or channels.
- Resolve complex inquiries using analytical skills; adapt solutions for diverse issues.
- Advise stakeholders on professional matters and participate in corporate initiatives adhering to company standards and ethics.
- Support decision-making, maintain communication, track assignments, and focus on results.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs.
- Working together with marketing, commercial excellence, education and functional teams to support channel partnerships and resolve daily operational issues.
- Oversee channel incentive programs to incremental sales and sell-in and sell-out growth; Execute marketing campaigns with market development fund.
- Advance channel digital enablement and eCommerce, increasing digital investment
Required Experience/Qualifications:
- 8+ years' experience managing multiple distributors/sales teams in healthcare or related sectors.
- Expertise with CRM systems, sales reporting, order systems, ERP systems / transformation and point of sales data
- Skilled in channel sales management, contract negotiation, and effective communication.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, persuasion, and integrity.
- Experience in med tech space and/or healthcare industry in APAC.
- Previous experience in dental industry highly valued.
- Experience in creation and deployment of policies.
- Strong data analysis skill set and management of processes.
- Business leader in developing new markets and forming new strategic alliances.
