Roles & Responsibilities
This role involves handling the processes for all receipts, prepare and submit gift stewardship report promptly. A key aspect of this role is the periodic rotation of responsibilities with a colleague who handles the other areas of accounts including payments, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations and month end closing.
Responsibilities
•Handle the processes for all receipts and input the data in the accounting system. Generate and send out receipts.
•Prepare and submit Gift Stewardship Report
•Do Bank Reconciliation.
•Organize and maintain financial records, both digital and physical.
•Responding to donors' emails.
•Periodic Rotation of responsbilities -manage payments, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations month-end closing, etc.
•Work hours: 1.30pm-5.30pm (Monday to Friday)
Required Skills & Core Competency
•A passion for Christian ministry
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
•Accounting Certification and Proficiency in Accounting Software and MS Office Suite
•Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and effectively and collaboratively in a team.
•Several years of work experience in keeping full set of accounts.
•This is a Singapore-based position, open only to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
