We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Projects Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects in the gas and new energy sectors, including plant expansions and hydrogen-related developments.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing gas infrastructure projects from feasibility and planning through to detailed engineering and execution, with demonstrated commercial acumen in contract negotiation, and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, particularly with local authorities and strategic partners.

What You Will Be Doing:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full lifecycle of gas infrastructure expansion projects, including feasibility studies, permitting, and regulatory approvals for new and expanded facilities.
  • With support from Engineering team and external consultants, oversee detailed engineering design and ensure alignment with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Drive execution of plant expansion projects, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Manage emerging energy projects, particularly hydrogen import, storage, and distribution infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, contractors, and technology providers.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and smooth execution.
  • Facilitate collaborations across key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry players, and academic institutions, to support innovation, regulatory alignment, and knowledge sharing.
  • Represent the company in public consultations, regulatory meetings, and stakeholder forums.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates and reports to senior leadership and external partners.
What We're Looking For:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or related field); PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on gas infrastructure and energy projects.
  • Proven experience in plant expansion and new energy technologies, such as hydrogen.
  • Strong understanding of gas systems, pipelines, and energy transition technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex contracts and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience engaging with local authorities and regulatory agencies to advance infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder collaborations, including public-private partnerships and research initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

The successful candidate will be based at 26 Senoko Avenue. Company shuttle bus pickup/dropoff point at Sembawang MRT station.
