· Define treatment objectives for each Beneficiary and implementing treatment programmes.  Beneficiaries refer to the Residents in the Home, the DAC Clients, and the Respite Stay-In Clients.

· Attend and participate in the discussion of Individual Care Plans (ICPs) of clients, Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Meetings, as well as the Admission and Review Committee Meetings.

· Document Beneficiaries' progress, re-assessments, re-defining goals where applicable.

· Assist to oversee the work performance and development of skills of all the Rehab staffs.

· Improve and/or develop new occupations for Beneficiaries (e.g. Horticulture, Urban Farming, 3D Printing Projects, Soap Making, Leathering).

· Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in the assessment of potential clients for ADH and DAC Programmes.

· Maintain proper records of assets inventory and coordinate acquisition/maintenance/repair of equipment, assistive aids, and wheelchairs.

· Collaborate with the Senior Executive (Volunteer Programme Management) on volunteers' orientation, coordination, and training for handling and supervision of manual and motorized wheelchair users, social activities and on-going programmes for the clients at the Home.

· Perform any other reasonable duties, as required by the Rehab Dept or the Home.

Job specification:

  • Possess a recognized Degree (Honours) in Occupational Therapy
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
  • Preferably a member of the Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists (SAOT)
  • A good team player
  • Highly adaptable to changes
  • Always having a 'can-do' spirit
