About the role
As a Site Manager at LGC Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects in the Tengah West Region. This is a full-time role that will require you to collaborate closely with the project team to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and managing the activities of construction workers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Monitoring site progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing appropriate safety measures
- Liaising with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any concerns
- Preparing and maintaining detailed project records, reports, and documentation
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the site team
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Familiar with relevant health and safety regulations and able to ensure compliance on-site
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
