About the role
As a Site Engineer at Construction, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects in the Tengah West Region. This full-time position requires hands-on experience in project engineering and a dedication to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality on our worksites.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations on construction sites, including supervising site activities, monitoring progress, and identifying and resolving issues
- Ensuring all construction work adheres to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
- Conducting site inspections, performing quality checks, and documenting project progress
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and address concerns
- Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team
- Assisting in the preparation of project reports, documentation, and records
What we're looking for
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with project management software and construction site management tools
