Summary:

Support the Department/Section Head in ensuring efficient operations by identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations. Execute specific assignments or specialized tasks as outlined in the departmental organization chart.

Job description:

  • Verify sales and purchase invoices.
  • Validate data transferred from sub-systems to the General Ledger in the SFAS system.
  • Manually input expenses invoices and banking transactions in the SFAS system.
  • Process vendor payments and ensure proper approval and accurate vendor bank account details.
  • Issue debit/credit notes for services or sales transactions.
  • Verify GST supplies with supporting documents for export/import transactions.
  • Assist in monthly accounts closing, including departmental allocation.
  • Organize and file documents after monthly accounts closing.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements:

--Diploma in Accountancy

- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience

- Knowledge of Costing is an added advantage

- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

- Meticulous, accurate, and able to work independently

- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
