Facility Technician

**Key responsibilities**
- To conduct routine checks on building and preventive maintenance of building facilities including electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing and sanitary according to authorities' legislations industry standards (AS9100, ISO14001, 45001, and company policies.
- Perform minor hands-on preventive corrective maintenance of Production & Facility system such as air compressor, mechanical and electrical systems.
- To supervise service contractor's work and to issue work permit and ensure that work is done efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot & rectify technical issues to ensure mínimal disruption to operation
- Active participation in continuous improvement, Workplace Safety & Health activities
- Maintain and upkeep the premise which involves day-to-day management and troubleshooting, including cleanliness & waste disposal management
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by manager.
**Qualification / Expertise / Skills**
- Minimum diploma or equivalent study qualification in building related field (building, Facility Management, Mechanical and Electrical)
- Knowledge in Compliance: ISO14001, 45001, 50001, Workplace Safety & Health Act
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Preferably prior experience in Facility (Aircon, lights, sanitary,..) & Equipment (diesel engine, compressor,) maintenance knowledge.
- Physically work at height is required.
- Experience to perform simple electrical hands-on works will be added advantage.
- Class 3 driving license, Forklift/Scissor/boomlift license preferred
- Excellent Analytical and problem solving skill
- Good project planning & decision-making skills
- Good knowledge of contracts, feasibility study and business proposal
- Ability to create simple Engineering drawings/sketches for contractors
