Responsibilities

  • Provide psychosocial care and conduct assessments of financial cases, applying for relevant national schemes to support patients and their families.
  • Support Medical Social Workers in reviewing intervention plans, preparing social assessments, conducting home visits, and engaging with external organizations.
  • Assist in planning and facilitating group sessions, community mapping, and events in collaboration with the social work team.
  • Participate in departmental education, orientation, and training activities as part of the clinical education team.
  • Uphold social work ethics, contribute to departmental initiatives and quality improvement projects, and carry out tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • NITEC in Community and Social Services or Diploma holder
  • Candidates with 2 years of relevant social service will be an advantage.
