Brief Summary:

Join an established main contractor as a Sand Fill Master, where you'll play a vital role in managing significant sandfill operations while ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning, coordination, and management of sandfill operations and onshore discharge activities.
  • Lead and supervise the sandfill crew and equipment to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and guide foremen, operators, and pipefitters.
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring it is clean, in good condition, and used effectively.
  • Implement safety policies and procedures, upholding Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
  • Communicate with the dredging team, site engineers, and superintendents regarding routine operations and project requirements.
  • Generate production reports and maintain thorough records of all sandfill activities.
  • Conduct inspections to verify site readiness for sandfill execution according to design specifications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sandfill operations, dredging, or marine construction.
  • Strong understanding of dredging and land reclamation techniques as well as offshore construction practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
  • Must possess physical and mental fitness to endure long working hours and challenging environments.
