As a pillar of e-commerce discovery experience, every day, our products enable tens of millions of users to discover relevant and interesting things among hundreds of millions of products and contents available on Shopee. We're a passionate and diverse team, committed to creating a convenient, delightful, and intelligent discovery experience for our users. We are looking for an (experienced) product operations to join us. You will be working closely with the product team to make significant impacts on Shopee's search & recommendation & ads through both technical and operational processes.

Job Description:

  • Facilitate communication, tracking, and reporting to keep the product team aligned on priorities and make steady progress, work with the local product, regional product team, and relevant stakeholders to evaluate, analyze, and to assist in the price competitiveness projects to maintain Shopee's market positioning of offering low prices
  • Maintain and update knowledge base, including templates, SOPs, guidelines, best practices, training materials and other important documents for Price Competitiveness projects.
  • Streamline and implement critical and routine product processes.
  • Surface issues with Price Competitiveness features by reviewing bad cases, analysing user behaviour data, and collecting product feedback.
  • Manage knowledge engineering projects to ensure prompt delivery of high quality data for our systems.
  • Work with other regional teams to develop structured policy by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Provide insights on local market's contexts, competitors, trends, and performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree from a recognized tertiary education institution
  • 1 year of experience in operational roles, or working with cross-functional teams is a plus.
  • Have a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous, and challenging environment.
  • Strong execution skills, attention to detail, ability to innovate and optimise business processes.
  • Strong ownership, bias towards actions, get things done independently.
  • Strong communication, especially in complex business/technical information verbally and in writing.
  • Analytical and quantitative reasoning with good critical thinking and data-based decision-making skills.
  • Good command of Excel/Google Sheet, proficient in SQL or Python and other data analysis tools are preferred
