About the role

As a Technician at Labquip (S) Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality technical support and maintenance services to our diverse client base. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a range of laboratory equipment and instruments at our client sites located around Singapore.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues with a variety of laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Repairing and replacing faulty components or parts in a timely and efficient manner
  • Documenting all service activities and maintaining detailed records of equipment maintenance
  • Providing on-site technical support and training to clients on the proper use and care of their equipment
  • Collaborating with the wider team to share knowledge and best practices
  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Relevant technical diploma or ITE certificate in a field such as electronics, instrumentation, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a technician, preferably within the laboratory or scientific equipment industry
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise technical guidance to clients
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed
