Job Responsibilities :
  • Oversee product testing and certification to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards
  • Lead, coordinate, and execute all activities related to agency approvals and regulatory compliance, including obtaining quotations, raising purchase requests, and preparing schedules, reports, test procedures, and test plans
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory agencies, safety/EMI/EMC bodies, vendors, and suppliers
  • Take the lead in developing, implementing, and maintaining internal test procedures, plans, and compliance guidelines in line with current regulatory standards
  • Review product designs early in the development cycle to ensure they meet all necessary agency compliance requirements
  • Initiate and/or coordinate root cause analysis for any non-compliance issues related to regulatory standards
Pre-Requisites :
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferably with experience in environmental compliance for electrical and electronic equipment (e.g., EU WEEE, RoHS, REACH regulations)
  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in electronics design and development, particularly in areas such as testing, failure prediction, safety assessments, and consumer product safety, EMI/EMC/RF testing
  • Strong experience with product certification and global market access requirements
  • Skilled in analyzing test data and effectively communicating results to cross-functional teams
  • Solid understanding of the processes involved in obtaining certifications/approvals for consumer electronic products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative
  • Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple tasks efficiently
