  • Maintain active liaison with law enforcement divisions to support ongoing operations, stay informed on digital piracy, financial crime and cyber enforcement developments.
  • Collaborate with key intermediaries including hosting providers, registrars, payment processors, ad networks, and social platforms to facilitate enforcement actions and strengthen anti-piracy efforts.
  • Foster relationships with local partners, commercial entities, industry counterparts to enhance intelligence-sharing and regional enforcement strategies.
  • Perform other investigative or operational duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hands-on experience in technical internet investigations, including domain and hosting analysis, IP attribution, DNS and WHOIS research, OSINT and network tracing.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of internet infrastructure, including ISPs, content delivery networks (CDNs), domain registrars and the role of intermediaries in online content distribution.
  • Skilled in using investigative tools such as WHOIS, reverse DNS, traceroute, packet capture analysis, and IP intelligence platforms with the ability to correlate technical data to investigative insights.
  • Familiar with the operation and monetization of online piracy ecosystems, including illegal streaming, file sharing, IPTV and cyberlocker platforms, as well as follow-the-money and ad-tracing techniques.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, digital evidence handling, and online anonymity tools (VPNs, proxies, Tor, etc.).
  • Proficient in all core Microsoft applications and comfortable with data analysis, visualization, and report writing tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrates initiative, adaptability and the ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prior experience in anti-piracy enforcement, cybersecurity, or law enforcement investigations is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required, additional Asian languages (e.g. Mandarin) are advantageous.
