Career Coaching and Programme Management Senior Associate/Associate

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Career Coaching and Programme Management Associate. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing participants' employability, guiding them through their career transitions, and managing the delivery of our Continuing Education and Training (CET) programs, including the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Career Development and Planning:

• Career Pathway Design: Develop personalized career development and placement plans for SCTP participants, ensuring alignment with their aspirations and market opportunities.
• Guidance and Advisory: Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions to assess participants' goals, utilizing career profiling tools to help them identify suitable career paths and job roles.
• Goal Setting: Collaborate with participants to set realistic career goals and create actionable plans to achieve them.
• Workshops and Seminars: Design and deliver workshops on career management, job search strategies, and skills to enhance participants' employability.
• Case Management: Maintain comprehensive records of career guidance sessions and track participants' progress.

2. Job Placement and Industry Relations:

• Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends to offer relevant advice and develop strategies for job placement.
• Employer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with employers to create job placement opportunities for participants.
• Job Matching: Perform targeted job matching and referrals, working closely with job seekers to secure successful placements.
• Collaboration: Partner with government agencies and other organizations to connect participants with job fairs, national initiatives, and additional placement opportunities.

3. Programme Management:

• Programme Planning and Execution: Collaborate with SUTD Pillars and other stakeholders to plan and deliver CET programmes effectively, managing the full spectrum of programme activities from course advisory to billing.
• Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics, ensuring all resources are available and optimally allocated for course delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for course participants, instructors, sponsoring companies, and funding agencies, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
• Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on programme performance, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in career coaching, placement services, or a related role.
• Skills: Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
• Team Player: A collaborative team player with a passion for helping others succeed.
• Certification: Coaching Cert or equivalent to "Career Advisory Programme (CAP) by WSG, or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Career Development Facilitation (ACCDF), training and certification in career advisory, facilitation, or coaching is a plus.
