Key Responsibilities
- Content Development:
Research and draft high-quality media materials, including press releases, tailored media pitches, bylined articles, and Q&A documents. - Social Media Management:
Draft and edit engaging social media copy and develop creative briefs for various digital platforms. - Media Engagement:
Support media outreach activities, manage journalist requests, and coordinate RSVPs for client events. - Strategic Research:
Conduct market and competitor research to support existing client strategies and new business pitches. - Monitoring & Reporting:
Manage daily media monitoring and compile comprehensive reports for PR and social media performance. - Administrative Support:
Maintain updated media databases, manage timelines, suppliers, partners, vendors, etc.
Requirements
- Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Business Administration. - Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Competence in a second language, particularly Mandarin, is a significant advantage for our regional work. - Mindset:
A positive attitude and a "self-starter" mentality. You should be eager to learn and ready to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. - Teamwork:
The ability to work independently when required while remaining a collaborative and supportive team member. - Organisation:
Strong project management skills and a sharp eye for detail. You should be able to manage multiple tasks without compromising on quality. - Leadership:
Experience in relevant extra-curricular activities or previous internships that demonstrate leadership and responsibility.
