Training and Development Lead

The Training and Development Lead is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs and initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance across the organization. This role will lead the training function, ensuring that training programs align with business goals and objectives, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps, training requirements, and development opportunities across various departments and roles.
  • Program Design and Development: Design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective training programs, workshops, e-learning modules, and other learning resources using a variety of instructional methods and technologies.
  • Curriculum Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum that addresses organizational needs and supports employee growth and development.
  • Implementation and Delivery: Oversee the implementation and delivery of training programs, ensuring that they are delivered effectively and efficiently. This may involve facilitating training sessions, coordinating trainers, and managing logistics.
  • Evaluation and Measurement: Develop and implement evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement. Analyze data and provide recommendations for enhancing training outcomes.
  • Learning Technologies: Stay up-to-date on the latest learning technologies and trends, and recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance the learning experience.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external training vendors, including negotiating contracts, evaluating performance, and ensuring quality.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Provide leadership and mentoring to other members of the training team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR, department managers, and other stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals and objectives.
