Role Overview

Lead and support engineering projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Responsible for site execution, technical coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project activities from site walk, client enquiry to tender support
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and clients on technical requirements
  • Prepare project documentation: quotations, budget, method statements, lifting plans, and schedules
  • Lead installation of equipment, structures, piping, and supports as per drawings/specifications
  • Review P&ID, ISO, GA drawings; ensure alignment, orientation, and quality compliance
  • Oversee mechanical clearance, hydro/pneumatic testing, commissioning & pre-commissioning
  • Prepare "as-built" drawings and ensure documentation (ISO/QHSE) completeness
  • Address technical queries, resolve site issues, and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Report daily activities to management and attend coordination meeting

Ideal Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer in pharmaceutical manufacturing/maintenance projects
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, equipment installation, and construction drawings (ISO, P&ID, GA)
  • Familiarity with QHSE standards, commissioning, and testing protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
