Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and manage robust and scalable cloud architectures using leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation
  • Monitor, maintain and optimise cloud-based systems and services to ensure high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the deployment of new cloud-based applications and services
  • Continuously research and recommend new cloud technologies and best practices to enhance the company's cloud capabilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues to minimise downtime and maintain business continuity

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cloud System Engineer or a similar role
  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing and managing cloud infrastructure using major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, containerisation, and infrastructure as code
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Solid experience in monitoring, optimising and troubleshooting cloud-based systems and applications
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience working in an agile environment is highly desirable
