Operation Manager

SPCI HELM Singapore Pte. Ltd.

Jurong Island, Singapore

Key Responsibilities

  • Plant Operations Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the processing plant, ensuring optimal production output, quality control, and safety compliances.
  • Managing & coordinate various department (Maintenance, Safety, QA/QC) to ensure smooth operation.
  • Supply Chain & Logistics Oversight
  • Manage logistics operations to ensure timely and safe delivery of materials while optimizing transportation costs and schedules.
  • Liaise with logistics partners, warehouses, and internal teams to maintain a streamlined supply chain.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance
  • Champion safety culture across all operational areas.
  • Ensure all operations comply with company HSE policy and local regulations.
  • Lead incident investigations and develop preventive measures.
  • Leadership & People Management
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, operators, and logistics staff.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with management to drive strategic initiatives and investments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or equivalent).
  • 10–15 years of experience in chemical plant operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven leadership in HSE practices and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, process control systems, and continuous improvement tools.
