Key Responsibilities:

Detailed Design Execution:

  • Familiar with structural design process, producing calculations and design checks, and technical reports that align with project requirements.
  • Review and approve design submissions, drawings, specifications, and method statements from consultants/subcontractors
  • Support the preparation of design submission packages and coordination with relevant Authorities
  • Execute structural design tasks and detailed calculations for various building and infrastructure elements, ensuring adherence to project specifications and relevant codes.
  • Conduct preliminary feasibility assessments, ensuring designs meet technical standards and environmental constraints
  • Perform structural modeling and analysis using industry-standard software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000), ensuring full compliance with relevant codes, standards, and environmental considerations, contributing to comprehensive design solutions.
  • Assist in compiling detailed design inputs and calculations for the Tender team, contributing to the accuracy of project bids.
  • Support in value engineering, optimisation of the designs and resolving technical issues to facilitate construction
  • Actively participate in design coordination meetings with various design disciplines, addressing design interfaces and contributing to clash resolution.

Tender & Project coordination in construction stage:

  • Liaise with external consultants and vendors to gather necessary data for design integration.
  • Attend site meetings and assist in resolving technical site issues
  • Provide essential design data, constructability assessments, and buildability scores to assist tender planning.
  • Review shop drawings and material submittals against design intent.
  • Conduct site visits as required to verify construction adherence to design and assist in addressing site-specific design queries or modifications
  • Meticulous project documentation, ensuring accurate record-keeping of design iterations, calculations, and communications.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
