The Service Commissioning Engineer reports to the Service Team Lead and is responsible for carrying out commissioning and testing third-party security products and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out testing and commissioning of CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Fire Alarm, AV, Public Address, and other Security & Communication systems;
  • Analyze equipment failures to determine the cause and recommend/take corrective actions
  • To complete all assigned jobs in a timely manner and meet customers' specifications.
  • Provide support to the Project Team on the implementation of new projects
  • Attend and carry out rectification works at the site
  • Carry out standby duties as per the roster for urgent service requests outside office hours
  • Provide customers with continuous technical and operational program support
  • Provide support to projects during the DLP period to ensure all rectification works are completed before handover

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer, Electronics/Electrical/IT Engineering/Computer Science/Telecommunication Engineering/Higher NITEC applicants will also be considered;
  • With at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar field;
  • A good team player, independent, and able to work under pressure;
  • Positive attitude, coupled with the ability to take initiative;
