Job Description & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Assessing client financial goals, risk tolerance, and needs through consultations.
- Investment Strategy Development: Recommending customized investment strategies and products such as unit trusts, bonds, and equities.
- Portfolio Management: Building, managing, and monitoring client investment portfolios.
- Financial Analysis & Research: Conducting financial analysis, evaluating asset performance, developing financial models, and researching industries.
- Market & Regulatory Updates: Staying informed on market movements, economic trends, and new investment products, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Client Support: Providing regular portfolio updates, rebalancing advice, and preparing financial reports.
- Client Engagement: Potentially conducting financial seminars or client events.
- Collaboration: Working with product specialists and research teams to enhance client offerings and supporting investment origination efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is often required.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio management, and financial modelling.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in financial analysis, risk assessment, and data interpretation.
- Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially when interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Tech Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modelling.
- Personal Attributes: Self-driven, result-oriented, positive, and a team player with a high level of commitment.
