Job Summary:

The Front of House (FOH) Staff is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring a smooth dining experience, and maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests. This role includes greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service
  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
  • Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently and professionally.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints politely and effectively.
2. Operations Support
  • Ensure tables, dining areas, and service stations are clean, well-organized, and properly set up before each shift.
  • Refill water, condiments, and cutlery as needed throughout service.
  • Clear and reset tables quickly between seatings to maintain smooth flow.
  • Support the team during peak hours by assisting with any front-of-house duties required.
3. Teamwork & Communication
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Participate in daily pre-shift briefings to understand menu changes, promotions, or special instructions.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service.
4. Compliance & Standards
  • Adhere to hygiene, safety, and service standards as set by the company and local regulations (SFA/NEA).
  • Follow all cash handling and POS procedures accurately.
  • Ensure personal grooming and uniform standards are maintained at all times.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in F&B service or hospitality preferred (training provided for entry-level candidates).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Pleasant personality, with a passion for customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
