Emergency & Critical Care – Patient Care Assistant (Night)

Job description:
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the emergency and ICU team with basic patient care during night shifts.
- Assist with feeding, cleaning, walking, and general monitoring of hospitalised patients.
- Maintain cleanliness of cages, kennels, ICU areas, and treatment rooms.
- Help with safe restraint of animals during examinations and procedures.
- Assist in restocking, laundry, and preparation of supplies for patient care.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to nurses or veterinarians.
- Support smooth shift transitions through proper communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
- No prior experience required, though experience handling animals or volunteering in shelters is advantageous.
- Demonstrates a genuine passion for animal care and patient comfort.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and some public holidays (off-in-lieu will be provided).
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Capable of performing physical tasks and confident handling animals of all sizes.
- Singaporeans only.
