Resort Officer

Role & Responsibilities:

Front Desk

• Responsible for checking guests in and out of the Hotel.
• Issues room keys, information about the resort and restaurant and our facilities
• Works in conjunction with the housekeeping and maintenance staff to maintain room & hotel vicinity condition
• Computes bills, collects payment and makes change for guests.
• Count and verify cash, shift activity, keys etc.
• Review service requests for FIT & Group arrivals when needed.
• Ensure hotel item stocks are replenished.
• Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals, divisions, or departments across the organization.
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
• Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
• Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
• Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

• Performs and accomplishes any other task/s assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE 'N' level or SHATEC education
• Some experience in a similar capacity would be an advantage
• Computer literate
• Pleasant personality and service oriented
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and rotating shifts including mid-night shift
