Key Responsibilities:

Freight Operations Management:

o Supervise the daily air and sea freight operations, ensuring efficient and punctual transportation of goods.

o Handle cross-border tracking processes, ensuring compliance with international shipping and customs regulations.

o Coordinate closely with carriers, customs officials, and other relevant stakeholders to mitigate operational disruptions.

Process Optimization:

o Identify inefficiencies in freight operations and implement process improvements to enhance overall performance.

o Use data-driven insights to monitor and refine operational strategies, minimizing delays and reducing costs.

Client Communication:

o Provide regular shipment updates to clients, addressing any concerns promptly and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

o Collaborate with the Customer Focus Team to ensure cohesive communication and service delivery.

Compliance & Documentation:

o Ensure all freight operations adhere strictly to relevant international laws and industry standards.

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all shipments, including customs declarations and tracking reports.

o Ensure timely billing and invoice verifications.

Problem Solving

To analyze complex situations, identify solutions and make quick decision in resolving customer complaints and issues.

Requirements

  • Proven Leadership Experience:
    Minimum 7 years of experience in a leadership role within freight & logistics.
    Experience managing teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills:
    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Hands-On Approach:
    Comfortable working directly with the team on the ground, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    Ability to manage operations actively.
