As a Head of Pharmacist (Inpatient & Retail) , you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing all pharmacy operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services and maintaining high standards of patient care.

  • This role involves strategic planning, policy development, team leadership and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Developing and implementing pharmacy policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and regulations.

  • Overseeing pharmaceutical care services to ensure optimal patient outcomes, managing inventory, and ensuring that medications are dispensed according to protocols and legal standards.

  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations on drug dispensing, including controlled substances.

  • Clarify prescription ambiguities with prescribers and prevent dispensing errors.

  • Perform audits, educate healthcare professionals, and adhere to Ministry of Health guidelines.

  • Prepare reports on inventory incidents.

  • Staff Training and Development to enhance skills and meet education goals.

  • Assist in scheduling and workflow management.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy accredited by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.

  • At least a 8 years of experiences in Pharmacy related work.
