Our client is a leading player in telecommunications network and infrastructure. As part of

its ongoing business, it is seeking to employ an experienced professional to join them as

Associate Legal Counsel (Ref: KHXXX)

The successful candidate will provide legal support to the Legal & Secretariat Department

and will report to the Counsel.

Responsibilities:

 Draft, review and vet contracts, agreements and other legal documents, including in

a regulated environment

 Handle legal disputes and contentious case management

 Transactional experience to support business units as well as corporate financing,

investment and divestment

 Liaise with external lawyers

 Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure polices and corporate

governance principles are adhered to

 Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

 Degree in Law, preferably admitted as Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore

 3 to 4 years Post Qualified Experience

 Experience working in a regulated industry, especially in drafting / reviewing

regulated contracts is a plus. Candidates in private practice who have spent

substantial time advising clients in regulated industries, and assisting in the

preparation of regulated contracts will also be considered.

 Experience working with IT / Construction contracts is also a plus.

 Familiarity with Telecom / IT industry will be an advantage

 Ability to review and advise in timely manner on salient issues with attention to

details

 IT Office skillset

 Good time and project management skills
