About the role

Polar Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the West Region. This full-time role will play a crucial part in the design, development and implementation of advanced electrical systems and solutions for our wide range of clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, testing and overseeing the installation of electrical systems and components to meet project requirements
  • Analysing and troubleshooting complex electrical systems to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems are integrated effectively
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Preparing detailed technical documentation and reports to support project delivery
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sector
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles, system integration and project management
  • Proficient in using electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Military Standards
