About the role

Star Publishing Pte Ltd, a leading publishing company in the Central Region (near to Commonwealth MRT), is seeking a talented Junior Editor (Mathematics) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the editing and production of high-quality educational content focused on mathematics.

What you'll be doing

  • Meticulously review and edit mathematical content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • Collaborate with authors, subject matter experts, and the editorial team to refine and enhance educational materials
  • Assist in the planning and development of new mathematics-focused publications
  • Proofread and fact-check all content to maintain the highest standards of excellence
  • Contribute to the overall editorial strategy and vision of the company

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in educational publishing or content editing, preferably in the mathematics domain, is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for mathematics
  • Proficiency in using various editing and content management software
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines
