As an Operations Director (Reidential Care), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Managing all aspects of facility operations including housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, security, and potentially food services.
  • Recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff, potentially including outsourced service providers.
  • Developing and managing budgets for all operational areas, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
  • Ensuring the nursing home adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and quality standards.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices.
  • Overseeing and managing relationships with external service providers.
  • Developing and implementing protocols for handling emergencies and ensuring staff readiness.
  • Facilitating clear communication channels and preparing regular reports on operational performance.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of operational strategies for the nursing home.
  • Other tasks assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare related
  • Must have at least 6 to 8 years of experience in healthcare
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
