Job Description

  • Review project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for M&E works.
  • Source, liaise, and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Develop and manage budgets for M&E components of construction projects.
  • Monitor expenditures, track allocations, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Assist in negotiating and administering contracts with M&E sub-contractors.
  • Prepare tender submissions, progress claims, payment certifications, variations, and final accounts.
  • Support the tender process, including requirement evaluation and documentation.
  • Maintain and update tender documentation repository, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Ensure proposals and submissions comply with finance, legal, and corporate guidelines.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Requirement

  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' working experience in quantity surveying, with strong exposure to M&E projects.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
