Role Description

1. Full-Stack Application Development (Reno Research App)

• Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable

code for the entire Reno Research application, including both front-end (client-side) and

back-end (server-side) components.

• Feature Implementation: Translate business requirements, user stories, and UI/UX

designs into functional features within the mobile and web applications.

• API & Database Management: Develop, maintain, and secure robust APIs for

communication between the application, servers, and any third-party services.

• Database Oversight: Design, manage, and optimize the application's database to ensure

data integrity, security, and performance.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Identify and fix bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues.

Write and maintain unit tests and participate in quality assurance to ensure a stable and

high-quality user experience.

1. Website & Web Platform Management

• Technical Ownership: Serve as the primary technical owner for the Reno Research

corporate website and any related web platforms.

• Maintenance & Updates: Perform regular maintenance, apply security patches, and

deploy content or feature updates to the website as directed by the management team.

• Performance & Security: Monitor website uptime, loading speeds, and security. Implement

necessary measures to ensure the website is fast, available, and protected from common

threats.

1. Technical Support & Operations

• Primary Support Contact: Act as the first point of contact for all technical support

escalations regarding the Reno Research app and website.

• Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues,

bugs, and user-reported problems in a timely manner.

• User Assistance: Provide technical support to end-users and internal staff, clearly

communicating resolutions and workarounds for complex issues.

• System Monitoring: Monitor the health and performance of the application's infrastructure

(servers, databases, etc.) and respond to any outages or service degradations.

1. General & Collaborative Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and other team members to define technical

strategy, project roadmaps, and timelines.

• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for the

codebase, APIs, and internal systems.

• Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on development progress, system

status, and technical challenges.

• Best Practices: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices and

proactively recommend improvements to the company's technology stack

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Front-End Development, including experience with user interfaces and design implementation
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, focusing on server-side logic and database management
• Experience with Full-Stack Development and general Software Development processes
• Familiarity with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for styling and layout of web pages
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for learning and staying updated on technology trends
• Experience with Agile methodologies or similar development frameworks is a plus
